(Note: this reflects a change of venue).\n\n\n\nThis gathering\, in solidarity with May Day Strong\, will protest Trump administration incursions into Venezuela and the murder of a US citizen by ICE in Minneapolis—uniting against a “reckless regime that occupies other countries and our cities on behalf of a handful of billionaires.”\n\n\n\nMay Day Strong is a broad progressive coalition of labor unions and community groups that is mobilizing nationwide protests on Saturday.\n\n\nCentral to these actions is a commitment to nonviolence. All participants are expected to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.\n\n\n\nPlease respect private property\, stay on the sidewalk and don’t obstruct pedestrians or vehicular traffic.\n\n\nWhile this is not a DCDC event\, we are helping to promote it. And the threats have grown so we must too. The MAGA Regime has already signaled that a second term means a deeper and more open wave of misogyny\, racism\, xenophobia\, and violence than the first. This moment calls for escalated commitment from our movement. \nWe walk away from fascism. We walk towards a Free America. We fight for a future that belongs to us all.
