Locally endorsed Democratic candidates attend Delhi’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
On Saturday, March 23rd, registered Democrats will have additional reasons for attending this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Delhi: an opportunity to meet Michele Frazier and Janet Tweed. Frazier and Tweed are local Democratic candidates for NYS government. They will be joining the parade, talking with voters and collecting petition signatures to get on the ballot.
Michele and Janet will have petitioning help from Delaware County Democratic Committee members (DCDC) who endorse the following slate of candidates for 2024 local elections: Josh Riley for US Congress NY19, Michele Frazier for NYS Senate District 51, Janet Tweed for NYS Assembly 102 and Vicki Davis NYS Assembly 121.
“As Chair of the DCDC, I am so proud of our candidates. In addition to Josh Riley, the DCDC has endorsed three bright, accomplished young Delaware County women — Vicki, Janet and Michele — who are stepping up to run for state office. We look forward to supporting these candidates as they take on the Republican incumbents to bring attention to the issues that really matter to the people of NY19, NY Assembly Districts 102 and 121 and NY Senate District 51. Democracy works when there is competition, when there is a choice on the ballot. Thanks to these talented candidates, the voters will have a real choice in November.”
Voters can stop by the 98 Main Street, Delhi DCDC Headquarters on Saturday, March 23 and Wednesday, March 27th from 11am-1pm. Members will be on hand to answer questions, witness registered Delaware County Democrats’ petition signatures, distribute voter registration forms as well as provide information about the upcoming April 2nd Presidential Primary and November 5th General Election.
