Our Districts


Elections in our area have been effected by the NYS Court of Appeals ruling that NYS district maps needed to be redrawn. Check back for election map and calendar updates.

District Updates (5/26/22)

Current 19th Congressional District

PAT RYAN (D) won the special election and is serving as Congressional Representative of the current NY19 — completing Delgado’s term which will expire January 3, 2023.

Then the new district maps will take effect.

Pat is also currently running for re-election to Congress. Because his home has been drawn out of the new NY19, Pat is running for the district he lives in — which will be the new NY18.

The current (soon to expire) NY19 includes the following counties:  Columbia, Greene, Delaware, Otsego, Schoharie, Sullivan, Ulster, the Eastern portion of Broome, Northern portion of Dutchess, the Western portion of Montgomery and the Eastern portion of Rensselaer.

IMPORTANT: Democratic candidates Pat Ryan and Republican candidate Marc Molinaro currently live in this soon to expire district. 

New 19th Congressional District

Democratic candidate JOSH RILEY will face Republican Marc Molinaro in the November General Election for the new Cogressional District NY19. This map shows the the newly redrawn NY19. It will take effect in the next session of Congress starting January 3, 2023.

The new NY19 includes the following counties: Broome, Chenango, Columbia, Cortland, Greene, Delaware, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins and the Southwest portion of Otsego and the Northern portion of Ulster.

New York State Senate District (to be determined)

NY Senate District 51

Includes all towns in Delaware, Otsego, Schoharie and Sullivan County plus towns in Eastern Broome, Southern Chenango, and Western Ulster Counties.

ERIC BALL is the Democratic candidate running for this seat.

New York State Assembly Districts

These maps show the newly drawn Assembly districts as of 2022. These district maps are under legal challenge and may be redrawn.

NYS Assembly District 101

Includes the towns of Andes,  Hamden, and Franklin in Delaware County. It also includes towns in Oneida, Otsego,Sullivan, Ulster and Orange Counties. This map shows the newly drawn district as of 2022.

Matthew Mackey is the Democratic candidate running for this district.

NYS Assembly District 102

Includes the towns of Davenport, Meredith, Delhi, Bovina, Middletown, Roxbury, Stamford, Kortright and Harpersfield in Delaware County. It also includes towns in Otsego, Schohaire,Albany, Green and Ulster. This map shows the newly drawn district as of 2022.

Nicholas Chase is the Democratic Candidate running for this district.


NYS Assembly District 121

Includes the towns of Sidney, Masonville Deposit, Tompkins, Walton, Colchester and Hancock in Delaware County. It also includes towns in Madison, Chenango, Otsego, Broome and Sullivan Counties. This map shows the newly drawn district as of 2022 .

Our State Supreme Court is responsible for the counties of Otsego, Delaware, Madison, Chenango, Broome, Cortland, Tioga, Tompkins, Schuyler, and Chemung.
