DCDC Annual Fundraiser Dinner

5-6 pm Cocktails & Silent Auction; 6- 9 pm Dinner & Speeches

Democrat of the Year
State and Congressional Candidates

Join us at our Annual Dinner as we honor our Democrat of the Year, enjoy a lovely dinner with fellow Democrats, bid on local services and products in our town baskets auction, and hear inspirational words from our elected leaders and candidates.

Come meet Dem candidates, elected officials, DCDC members, and Dems from around the county. Cocktail hour and town basket auction starts at 5pm and is followed by dinner and speakers at 6pm.

The list of speakers is being assembled and we will be reporting on them and our Democrat of the Year very soon!

Dinner Tickets

We have several options for dinner ticket packets this year! We encourage bringing your partner and friends—or fill a table of eight with fellow co-workers or cohorts in good troublemaking! Purchase your tickets or make a donation here:

Dinner Book Ads

Want to put an ad in our dinner book?

We can’t do what we do without the support of our local businesses and professionals who understand the importance of the civic engagement of our citizens. Help us help you by placing an ad of any size in our program. This year we will be going digital! We will be projecting a video loop of our sponsor ads on a large screen throughout the dinner and will also maintain the same ads on our website’s dinner page until next year’s event.

Town Basket Auction

Next year, 2023, is a local election year and with this year’s Dinner we intend to raise $10k to support our local candidates’ run for offices across Delaware County! So, in honor of our LOCAL goods and services, each of our town committees will gather a basketful of products and services located within their town! You’ll be amazed at how much Delaware County has to offer! Each of the items and services are available to the highest bidder!

View the items we’ve collected so far here!

BetterWorld Auction Website

Bidding starts September 16th and will end the night of our dinner, October 8th.

Donate an item or service to your town’s basket!

You don’t have to be a business to do so. If you have a skill to share or a uniquely nice antique you think someone could use, or anything else you can imagine others might bid on, donate it here!

Donate to the Town Basket Auction

If you need help with the online donation process, or want to donate in person, contact our Auction Coordinator Volunteer, Shauna Vey. She’ll be glad to walk you thru the process:

There’s always room for more helpers at DCDC! We need people to help decorate, to collect Town Basket Auction items, to collect sponsor ads, to sell tickets, to spread the word — the list is endless, so if you think you can do any of those things, contact Kathleen Hayek. She’ll be glad to help get you started working with us!
