We Won The Special Election! We Have Excellent Candidates for the General Election!
YAY! Hope you’re rested up a bit from the Primary/Special Election, aka round 2 of a 3 round election battle year, because our Annual Dinner is right around the corner and it’s time to gather up some ads for our Program Booklet and some goodies for our Town Auction Baskets! We have a tiny window for getting this wrapped up—deadline is Friday, September 16th!

Please encourage ad buyers to include a congratulations message to her in their ad if appropriate! Some ad buyers may want to include patriotic or inspiring quotes if they don’t have a photo or logo to include in their ad. We encourage that as well.
We’re Going Digital!
This year we are running so tight on the print deadline that Lisa Tait and I have decided to create a video loop projection of the booklet layout that will run on a large screen through out the dinner and will be featured on our website. So focus on the digital aspect of this advertising opportunity, please! Adding these features will ensure that the ads are seen by all our guests, will live on for more than just the evening, and will cost us very little to produce.
We will probably meet our deadlines, and print the booklets after all, in addition to the projections and website page, but we don’t want to promise it and run the risk of not delivering on our promise.
Below is a link to a pdf file of a blank form. It is 2 pages and can be printed double sided on some printers. Print as many copies as you like and take them with you to see prospective ad buyers or email the forms to prospective ad buyers.
Deliver completed hard copy forms and check payments to the Delhi Headquarters, 98 Main St, on Wed or Sat, 11-2pm. Or to your Town Chair. By Friday, Sept 16th.
Fill Up Your Town’s Auction Basket
Don’t forget to ask the ad buyer if they have a product or service they would like to add to your town’s auction basket! We are using an online service (FREE) called BetterWorld to handle our auction. All we need is the item description, its approximate retail value, the donor’s business name, contact person, phone, or email, and a photo of the item. And all this information can be given online by the donor! Here’s the links:

Deadline for submitting ad copy and photos to online or hardcopy to Headquarters is 5pm, Friday, September 16th.
It’s a short turn around, I know, and I wish we could have been ready sooner, or had more time and less chaos and a “bigger bench”. We’re all doing the very best we can, are pushing ourselves hard, I know that. And we also know that everything we can do now will make a HUGE difference next year, so please let’s give it a good hard push to the finish.
