Rally with Western Catskills Indivisible in Margaretville on Sunday from 3:00-4:30pm on Bridge Street (across from Freshtown). Share the word. Let’s make good trouble!

    In Delaware County,
there are 2 ways we can
    organize and act together:

    1. Peacefully refuse the big corporation
    business as usual system:

    • No shopping online.
    • No big box stores.
    • No work.
    • No credit card shopping.
Make local small shop purchases in cash.

    2. Take a positive action—
    show measurable support
    for the society we want:

    • Make an online donation of any size to
      DELAWARE OPPORTUNITIES
      on or before May 1st.
    • In the first box of the donation form
“(+ Add special instructions to the seller)”
      put:
“This is a May Day Strong Donation”

Together, we will be helping neighbors and making a statement that can literally be counted.

Why Donate to Delaware Opportunities Inc.?

It’s a local group helping local neighbors.

Delaware Opportunities Inc. was established in 1965 under provisions of the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, as a Community Action Agency. Delaware Opportunities is a not-for-profit, private corporation.

Although the agency contracts with Delaware County and other local municipalities, the agency is not a part of local government. It is governed by a Board of Directors, and has wide powers, designed to improve living conditions in Delaware County. The mission of the agency is to help people achieve self sufficiency and attain a better quality of life.
