Town Supervisor

I love Walton!  I grew up just across the Sullivan County border in Livingston Manor, a small, beautiful town with a river running through it – similar in many ways to Walton.  After traveling the country and living and working in many states, I invested in Walton as my hometown. I have lived in Walton for 21 years, own several properties, and raised my children here. I am now watching my grandchildren grow up in Walton.  Fresh air, clean water, a family-friendly community, an excellent education system, and job opportunities – are some of the reasons I made Walton my home.

I started my career as a legal secretary in a small private law firm and worked my way up from an entry level position in the Unified Court System, clerking in Family, Support, Supreme and County Courts in the Third and Sixth Judicial Districts. When I left the court system 10 years ago, I began working in the private sector as a news reporter and now work for the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, a private not-for-profit business advocacy organization, representing businesses throughout Delaware County. For the past five years, I have traveled to Albany to lobby for business-friendly policy for Delaware County businesses and in that time have developed relationships with state and federal elected officials including assembly, senate and congressional representatives to make certain that Delaware County, and Walton specifically, are not left behind.

I am a small business owner. I operate a promotion and marketing company and am a licensed NYS outdoor tour guide utilizing and showcasing all of Walton’s wonderful attributes – our mountains, our river, and most importantly our residents.

I’ve served our community as a village trustee and deputy mayor. As a member of the Walton Chamber of Commerce, I’ve successfully written grants to promote Walton events (sportsmen’s expo) and for the acquisition and installation of bike racks. I continue to work in an ongoing collaboration between the Walton Chamber of Commerce and the West Branch Artists for the creation of an art bike trail throughout the town and village.

Now, I’m stepping up to serve the people of Walton as your Town Supervisor and am asking for your vote on November 2nd.  Together, we will continue to put Walton first!
