Town Justice

Michele Frazier has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago in Law, Letters and Society. She has a Master in Theological Studies from Harvard University and a Master in Science from American University in Justice, Law and Society. She is currently working on a Doctorate in Law and Policy at Northeastern University. She teaches introduction to law, sociology, criminology, American Government and World Affairs at SUNY Delhi. Michele grew up in Oneonta, NY, but her mother is a native of Delhi, NY. There is even a book about Michele’s grandmother, who lived on Elm St. in Delhi (Ask her about it sometime). Michele’s roots in the area run deep, but her allegiances do not, so she can rule from a place of knowledge, but without prejudice. She is also a licensed real estate salesperson for Benson Agency Real Estate. Michele served as Councilmember for Ward 1 in the City of Oneonta. Seeking the town justice position is part of her continued passion and commitment to public service. Michele lives with her spouse and three young children in Delhi. In her spare time, which is limited, she knits up a storm.
