Hear a reading of the Town of Middletown Board’s Resolution proclaiming June as Pride Month. Many don’t know this was passed in 2022 and is an annual recognition.
- CONVERSATION AND REFRESHMENTS —
We will have representatives from Delaware County Pride and Otsego Pride Alliance joining us. Share your thoughts, questions, concerns and hopes. (If you want to bring refreshments to share, that’s great, too.) - LITERATURE AND INFORMATION —
We’ll have DCP and OPA literature with support contacts, how to be an ally information and more. (Middletown Dem information will also be available.)

WHERE WHEN AND HOW
THE NEST (Catskill Chapel): 63 Orchard Street, Margaretville.
WHEN: Starts at 5pm. Please come early so we can assemble a good photo op group showing support of MDC’s Statment and our town’s Pride Month resolution.
PARKING: There is no parking at the Nest. Please park at the Margaretville Central School lot on Academy Street and walk over. (If you need a shuttle service to the Nest, let us know in advance).
WHY MIDDLETOWN DEMS?
MDC doesn’t pretend to be a Pride group. We do, however, represent a major political party. We are committed to taking a stand for and being good allies to marginalized groups. We are creating spaces for conversations between these groups and their allies. We believe good governance is key to assuring justice and equality… and it all starts with conversations.
