Absentee Voting Updates

While it is too late to apply ONLINE for an absentee ballot, YOU CAN pick one up IN PERSON at your Board of Elections, fill it out on the spot and then you will be handed a ballot. You can vote right there and turn it in.

You can apply for the absentee ballot up until the close of business, the day before Election Day. If you want to take the ballot home, you can mail it in but it must be postmarked no later than Election Day. You can also drop off the ballot in a special designated box at your voting place up until the polls close at 9pm.

IMPORTANT: If you applied for and IF YOU RECEIVED an absentee ballot, and then wish to vote in person, YOU WILL BE UNABLE to vote with a scanned ballot at your polling place. You can show up at the polls, but will be handed an affidavit ballot to fill out.
