Town Clerk/Collector:
SARAH HUBBELL is a lifelong resident of the Town of Middletown. Sarah currently resides in the village of Margaretville with her two daughters, Mackenzie, 13 and Kayleigh, 8. After graduating from Margaretville Central School in 2002 she went on to get her four year bachelor degree in Human Ecology at SUNY Oneonta. She currently works as the Deputy Clerk for the Town of Middletown. Before that she worked at Margaretville Central School as a teachers aide in a special education room. In school Sarah was on the emergency/safety planning committee, activity leader for the CROP program and modified girls basketball coach.
Sarah is involved in the community. She has served the last three years as the Middletown Health Officer and 4 years as a Village of Margaretville Trustee. She has been an active member of the Margaretville Fire Department for 21 years. While in the department she received the following awards, Rookie of the Year, Delaware County Fire Officer of the year, and has ascended as a member through the ranks to lieutenant, captain and is currently the Assistant Chief and secretary. She is the coordinator of the Catskill Mountain Youth Soccer program for the last 6 years. Sarah is a certified NYS EMT and has her certification as a Family Life Educator, her Mental Health Certification and is trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
Sarah is pursuing the position of the Middletown Town Clerk so she can continue working closely with the members of the community. Sarah’s organizational skills, multi-tasking, knowledge of the area, its history and its people would make her a great candidate for this position.
