Supervisor Candidate:
Tomas J. O’Brien
Tom O’Brien is a 24-year resident of Roxbury. He served as the principal, and retired in 2020 as the superintendent, after 18 ½ years of service to the Roxbury Central School District. Tom serves his community as a volunteer EMT, is a professional ski patroller at Belleayre Mountain and served as a trustee for Margaretville Memorial Hospital for 9 years. He previously served on the New York State Task Force to Combat Heroin and Opioid Addiction. If elected Roxbury Town Supervisor Tom wants to bring his passion for public service and advocacy for rural life and the fiscal experience of running a complex organization like a school district to local government.
