Hello Resisters!
IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE: Sunday, March 8th at 3pm is our next planned Zoom. Our featured, special guest will be Jonathan Buchwalter.
Jonathan is an Alabama high school social studies teacher, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve veteran, and educational content creator known for his thoughtful engagement with history, civics, and modern culture. Teaching at Tuscaloosa County High School, he has drawn national attention for his practical insights on student engagement and the impact of classroom technology policies. In addition to his work in education, he creates widely followed online content exploring history and philosophy and is the author of a science fiction trilogy. He brings a dynamic, real-world perspective to conversations about education, culture, and civic life.
We hope you’ll join us. We welcome everyone to bring their perspectives, questions, and ideas for a thoughtful and engaging conversation.

DC Resisters are virtual rallies held via Zoom to discuss ways to resist. Rallies are held every alternate Sunday at 1pm. Registration required. Some weeks we have fascinating guests, other weeks, it’s a free discussion—it’s always an inspiring discussion about how we meet these challenging times. We welcome everyone to bring your perspectives, questions, and ideas for a thoughtful and engaging conversation.
Thank you for being a DC Resister. Your feedback helps define our direction forward. You make democracy work.
