The “Big Beautiful Bill”

TELL EVERYONE.

If they care about their grandchildren living in debt.
If they know anyone on Medicaid.
If they care about children having enough to eat.
If they voted for Marc Molinaro against Josh Riley.
If they have public health insurance.

Tell them every single Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives voted to add $2,400,000,000 to our national debt in order to give tax cuts to the rich. 

The poor and the middle class will lose. Here are the numbers from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office. Over the next decade, the Big Beautiful Bill will:

In Delaware County, two out of every five children will lose nutrition or health benefits. We will all be affected. For generations.

But here’s the sneaky part: most of the cuts will be imperceptible until after 2026 mid-term elections. Not only did the Republicans pass this giant bill in the dead of night, but they plan is to keep this nefarious act under cover until they are safely re-elected. We cannot let that happen.

Tell everyone three times. Tell them now, when they feel the pinch, and before election day 2026. Don’t let anyone forget that every Republican used the power of their vote to hurt us and help the rich stay rich. Every Democrat voted against this travesty, but there are not enough Democrats to win any vote in the House. It is vital that we Democrats win more seats in 2026. Here in NY-19, Josh Riley was elected by a tiny margin and the Republicans are aching to take back his seat. We must not let that happen.. 

We must also reach out to our family, friends and Democrats in the districts where Republicans have power. In blue NYS, districts surrounding us have elected Republicans:

Make sure their constituents know that Lawler, Stefanik, Langworthy and Tenney sold them out for the rich. Tell them three times. Help campaign in these districts. Expose Republicans for who they are.
