Hello Resisters!
March 22 at 1pm is our next planned Zoom. Our featured guest will be Democratic candidate for Louisiana’s 3rd DC, Tia LeBrun.
Tia is a Louisiana educator, language specialist, and community advocate with a long-standing commitment to public education and cultural preservation. A classroom teacher and instructional leader, she has focused much of her career on French immersion and language programs, helping expand opportunities for students while supporting educators across multiple school systems.
In addition to her work in education, Tia is an active supporter of Louisiana’s French and Creole heritage and has been involved with organizations such as the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana. She is also a member of the United Houma Nation, reflecting her deep ties to the state’s diverse cultural communities.
Tia previously ran as a Democratic candidate for Congress and is currently a candidate for Louisiana’s 3rd Congressional District. Her campaign focuses on strengthening public education, improving access to healthcare, and supporting working families. Promises to be a fascinating discussion.
